Intel Corporation is an American multinational semiconductor chip maker corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, California. Intel is the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip maker, based on revenue. It is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. Intel Corporation, founded on July 18, 1968, is a portmanteau of Integrated Electronics (the fact that intel is the term for intelligence information was also quite suitable). Intel also makes motherboard chipsets, network interface controllers and integrated circuits, flash memory, graphic chips, embedded processors and other devices related to communications and computing. Most video cards can offer accelerated rendering of 3 D scenes and 2 D graphics, MPEG-2/ MPEG-4 decoding, TV/ HDMI output, or the ability to connect multiple monitors (multi-monitor). The alternative of the video card, can be found integrated into the motherboard or the CPU. The video motherboard-based implementations are called on-board video while CPU-based implementations are called accelerated processing units or APUs. The desktop computer motherboards with on-board video solution allow the disabling of the integrated graphics in BIOS. This is very useful when your integrated graphics has failed. You can still use the same motherboard by adding a PCI, or PCI Express( PCI- E) high-performance graphics card in place of the integrated one. Intel hardware is not.
