Posted by The Moose My Latitude X300 has a Intel( R) PRO/ Wireless LAN 2100 3 A Mini PCI Adapter connected to a Netcomm NB5580 W ( wireless router. It seems to work fine for 1 - 30 mins and then drops out - One or more networks are available.  Once this happens it will normally not automatically reconnect. I watched the stats on the trouble shooting page tonight and it was generally 95% plus signal quality and strength prior to drop outs. I did notice a foreign profile name pop up in the Network Name SSID a couple of times after I had been dropped of. Using a WPA- Preshared key with a TPIP wpa algorithm as mandatory for wireless access. I try to connect again, normally it doesn't work, walking around with the laptop often does the trick. Once it reconnects signal strenth and quality are excellent. Sort of a non-technical answer but my cordless phones interfere with my PROWireless 2100.  Connection just drops unexpectedly.  Unplugging them keeps it going. until I need to use the phone!
